Here's my short story
A long time ago I was a young mother with a daughter. I was with my coworkers when someone pulled out a pendulum, and we started having fun asking questions and watching the results.
For whatever reason, I asked how many children I’d have. The pendulum answered I’d have three children total: a girl, a girl, and a boy—in that order.
As I got older, I had another child, a boy. I didn’t have any more children after that.
As my kids grew and time went on, that pendulum reading stuck in my memory. I couldn’t believe how wrong it had been with such a profound question.
My kids grew, and I got divorced, remarried, divorced, and then in my late-forties, started dating a wonderful man, Michael.
Mike has a very large family, and we got closer, I was embraced by his siblings and their spouses, nieces, and nephews, and most importantly, Mike’s only child, his daughter, Kelsey.
I absolutely adore Kelsey. I consider her to also be my daughter and love her like my own children. It may be no surprise to you that Kelsey is younger than my daughter and older than my son.
One girl, one girl, one boy.
The universe was right. I’d have three children in my life. the answer just wasn’t in a way I expected!
When Mike and I got married, my son walked me down the aisle and our daughters stood beside us as we said our vows. My girls get along well together. And Mike has embraced my kids as I have with his daughter.
I’m curious to know if you have ever used a pendulum—or any other divination—to predict the future? and what were the results? Did your questions come true?
Until next time! Namaste
